Children and Adults

Inspired by Kindness and Learning

Pikopiko Learning is wonderfully different to any other centre around. You feel it the moment you walk in the door. It’s the homely feel, the warm staff, the nature-rich surroundings of the farm and the park across the road, the peaceful space, and most importantly the kindness.

Ours is a place where children play and develop a love of learning, in a beautiful, sustainable, natural environment. Alongside the children are our carefully selected, caring early childhood teachers who all hold (or are working towards) a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education. These teachers enable the children to enjoy the surroundings, and resources that are carefully chosen and thoughtfully presented. To complete the package, your child’s food is lovingly handmade in our centre kitchen using nutritious and seasonal wholefoods to help their bodies and minds grow.

Situated amongst the beautiful scenery of Clifton Road between Whitford and Beachlands, Pikopiko Learning is the ideal Childcare Centre in East Auckland for those wanting a

well rounded early education for their children.

With a curriculum based on children learning alongside each other as part of a team, our focus on kindness and mindfulness is integral to this. Pikopiko has a goal to create confidence, creativity and imagination in our children to ensure that

they are prepared for the world of the future.

Offering a curriculum inspired by Dr Emmi Pikler, Reggio Emilia and the educational experience of Finland, Pikopiko Learning Childcare and Early Learning provides a philosophy

combining the best of all of the researchers.

We hope you will visit us at Pikopiko Learning soon,

but in the meantime please don't hesitate to get in
