Matt Jones

After 4 years as Sous Chef at the Millennium Hotel Christchurch, Matt Jones stepped up into the Executive Chef postition.

Having been an integral part of the team, Matt is in the perfect position to continue to develop the local reputation of Restaurant Piko Piko in true Millennium Style.

Oamaru born, Matt started his career at Bell Pepper Blues in Dunedin, and represented NZ in Bermuda at the Chaine des Rotisseurs Commis Chef of the Year after winning regional and national competitions.

Matts commitment to mentor young up and coming chefs and fulfill his own passion to create original mouth watering cuisine will serve the Millennium Hotel Christchurch very well in years to come.
